Upcoming Workshops this June
That Crafty Stitch, Torquay Saturday June 27th, 5pm-8pm.
I am so excited to be doing my first ever workshop in Devon! I will be visiting That Crafty Stitch on the 27th June for a meet and greet during the day if you want to come down and say hello, ask advice or get a book signed. Then, in the evening, I will be teaching a granny square workshop, focussing on all the tips and tricks you will need to use my granny decks, including chart reading.
In this workshop, I will introduce the decks and demonstrate how to use the cards and charts.
Everyone will get to pick their own motif to hook and will use the charted pattern on the reverse to make it, all the while being carefully guided through any new techniques.
I will also of course be available to answer all your queries about the deck and to sign copies.

A really fun evening class introducing three fabulous colour techniques - Mosaic, Fair Isle and Intarsia knitting and lots of playing with lovely yarns and colours.
Skill Level - Improver, participants must at least know the basic stitches and will be able to knit, purl, cast on and cast off proficiently to attend this class.

Learn the basics of knitting or refresh your knowledge to become more confident in your skills - a laid back, fun class covering knit, purl, casting on and casting off, plus maybe more if you have some knowledge, however, no knowledge of knitting is required to attend.

On request, I will be teaching an extra course at Citylit this July - my popular Colourwork Knitting class.
This class is an introduction to working with colour patterns in your knitting. You will learn how to play with colour, to follow a colourwork chart, to change colours neatly, and to use yarn bobbins, plus there will be some professional finishing techniques. The series of techniques we will look at are Mosaic Knitting, Fair Isle/stranded knitting and Intarsia and the class is usually a lot of fun.
Materials will be provided, but if you want to bring your own colour palette of lovely yarns to play with, please do.
