That Crafty Stitch, Torquay Saturday June 27th, 5pm-8pm.

Later this month, the lovely Sam at That Crafty Stitch has asked me to come along to her lovely new shop in Torquay where I will be teaching my first ever workshop in Devon and I am very excited about it! I will be visiting That Crafty Stitch on the 27th June for a meet and greet during the day if you want to come down and say hello, ask advice or get a book signed. I will also be bringing some of the samples from the decks and from my new Granny Square book, which will be out in the autumn, so you can come and look at what you can make just with a few granny squares!

Then, in the evening, I will be teaching a fun granny square workshop, focussing on all the tips and tricks you will need to use my granny decks, including chart reading. In this workshop, I will introduce the decks and demonstrate how to use the cards and charts. Everyone will get to pick their own motif to hook and will use the charted pattern on the reverse to make it, all the while being carefully guided through any new techniques. I will also of course be available to answer all your queries about the deck and to sign copies. ​

This class is suitable for confident beginners who want to increase their granny square knowledge. Participants must at least know the basic stitches, UK double crochet, half treble and treble crochet.
